Comfort Inn & Suites Chesapeake - Portsmouth

I just got stationed here a month ago and literally, EVERY weekend (and some weekdays), I come stay here just to get a peace of mind in a comfortable room. Max is AMAZING! I look forward to seeing him when I check in! Smooth check in, very accommodating, breakfast is always good and the rooms are always clean. The beds are super comfortable, showers are nice and hot, staff is super friendly! Love it here!

Exceptional Service! I had an amazing experience at Comfort Inn & Suites! The manager was absolutely extraordinary—professional, welcoming, and truly went above and beyond to make my stay smooth. I arrived in town earlier than expected, and without hesitation, he expedited the check-in process and made sure my room was ready ahead of time. Everything was handled with care and efficiency. It’s rare to come across hospitality like this—he made me feel like a valued guest from the moment I walked in. Highly recommend this location and a huge shoutout to the manager for setting such a high standard. They even have hot tubs

One of my favorite hotels. The cons everyone are talking about are small. It’s laid back. Great service they are attentive and thorough. I’ve never had a major issue. They rectify any problems. Where else are you going to find a decent hotel, very chill, indoor pool, hot breakfast, always accommodating, and one of the easiest check ins. This is one of my favorites, it’s in the cut. In my opinion one of the best in that area. I’ve been here a lot, I can tell you a lot of these people are looking for 5 star treatment in this area… right…One of the most comfortable beds and suites. Decent prices as well. Last thing whoever said something about bugs lied. You can come here and actually relax.

My stay was great. The hot tub was everything, to the point I almost I fell asleep lol. But all in all, the service was great as well as my stay.

They are very sweet and my kids loved the pool but it was so much chlorine but we enjoyed our stay and for sure the staff was amazing

Everything was lovely. Fresh hot breakfast, I was able to do laundry and my room was nice and clean! Would definitely recommend

Room is very basic but the customer service is very good. Max was very accommodating to our needs. He helped us before we checked in to confirm we got the right accommodation for our family There was some issues with the cleaning in our room when we 1st arrived, but Max was determined to make sure we were satisfied. The rooms are spacious and the beds were clean. The breakfast area was clean. My daughter is excited about the indoor pool. This is a budget friendly hotel and a little out dated. You can tell Max is trying very hard to make sure his customers know he cares.

I am so grateful for Max and his customer service. My disabled mom in a wheelchair needed a handicap accessible room and Max went above and beyond to make that happen. It wasn’t just Max. When I requested anything from the housekeepers, they were more than willing to help and assist me. The only issue was that it wasn’t close to where my mom was getting dialysis, but that was poor planning on my part since this stay was last minute. - The room had ample space for my mom and three other guests to move around in - The shower head had a hose extension which was super helpful. - The bed was comfortable enough for both side and back sleepers. - The shower wasn’t a roll-in shower but there was a shower seat available in the room. - There was another adjacent room made available but we decided to just stick with the one room. - There is a refrigerator in the room in case you have meds that need to go in there. - There is no smoking on the premises which is ideal for guests who have lung issues. - I didn’t take any pictures because as far as I knew, the room was ideal for what we were looking for and it was clean. Again, I can’t say enough about Max’s politeness and work ethic. He truly made our stay comfortable and fun.
